The existing building, measuring approximately 20,000 square feet, is to be remodelled to provide a new arrangement of flexible office space in the heart of the retail district in Kingston. Accommodation is spread over three floors and is able to be arranged to suit various tenant requirements.
Celluar offices are removed and extraneous structure stripped back to make the most of the existing proportions and aspects. Internally, lobbies and staircases are enhanced with elegant joinery which provide a consistent identity. Adjoining flat roof space is converted to provide new external terraces for office staff.
The riverside suite features a new modular timber framed rooflight which references the profile of the old warehouses that once resided along the riverbank.
