NLA New Ideas For Housing Competition
Reed Watts Architects, in collaboration with Claire Bennie, has been shortlisted for the NLA’s ‘New Ideas for Housing’ Competition. Our proposal creates high-quality homes for older people in city-centre locations, close to shops and services. However, rather than creating an old-peoples home, the building would also include homes for young people with their rent subsidised by their older neighbours. The proposal, known as ‘Tony:Together Old’N’Young,’ forms part of an exhibition at the NLA running from 15 October to 17 December.
