Emily Carmichael

Emily joined Reed Watts in 2019 to work on a number of the practice’s arts projects, having previously worked at 5th Studio and Haworth Tompkins.

At 5th Studio, she was involved in both strategic and architectural projects for London Boroughs, including the award-winning New Cross Area Framework, as well as Ive Farm Sports Ground and a number of residential schemes. She also led the practice’s mentoring work with the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust.

Emily sits on the Mayor’s Young Professionals Infrastructure Panel, a cross disciplinary group tasked with reviewing London’s approach to delivering future built infrastructure. She is a member of women’s built environment network Urbanistas and has acted as a guest critic for Central St Martins and the University of Cambridge.
