Colin Rose

Colin studied at The University of Cambridge and Cardiff University and was fully qualified in 2009. He worked at Haworth Tompkins from 2004-2013 on award-winning projects including the London Library and the Royal College of Art. He subsequently led the practice’s project for the Donmar Warehouse theatre on Dryden Street.

Colin gained an Engineering Doctorate from UCL in 2019. His research investigated the secondary use of discarded construction components. He has published articles on the subject in peer-reviewed academic journals and presented at international conferences.

He is a former director of the Remakery Brixton, where he helped to build and set up reuse and repair workshops on a shoestring. Colin has previously taught architecture at Cardiff University and has been a guest critic at Bath, Kingston, Southbank and Chelsea College of Art and Design.
