Colin studied at The University of Cambridge and Cardiff University and became fully qualified in 2009. He worked at Haworth Tompkins from 2004-2013 on a number of award-winning projects including the London Library and the Royal College of Art. He led the practice’s project for the Donmar Warehouse theatre.
Before joining Reed Watts, Colin completed his Engineering Doctorate thesis, which he is due to defend in early 2019. His research at UCL investigated the secondary use of discarded construction components. He has published articles in peer-reviewed academic journals and presented at international conferences.
He is a former director of the Remakery Brixton, where he helped to build and set up reuse and repair workshops on a shoestring. Colin has previously taught architecture at Cardiff University and has been a guest critic at Bath, Kingston, Southbank and Chelsea College of Art and Design.
